We have a scanner that emails scanned documents to our users.

This works well, except for the person that has the email from address configured in the scanner the same as their email.

The email goes out:

from: user@domain.com
to: user@domain.com

The email contains only a pdf attachment of the scan.

It get's passed from the GWIA to the MTA and then.... Pending in the MTA.

I have turned on logging on the mta and when I use the Message Tracking on the MTA web interface it shows the message has a status of Pending.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?
