Hi all: Forgive this seemingly stupid question. I have just migrated our main office domain and postofice over to GW 8 running on linux. Migration went well but I am having issues with my branch office POs which are still running on netware servers.

Before our migration, to send messages between POs I have to load the poa AND mta on each server. The mta would contain the /home switch pointing to the primary domain directory. Now that the primary domain is running on a linux server my mtas can't open the domain directory and fail to load. However, this is not preventing messages from moving to/from the postoffices.

I have always been under the impression a working mta had to be running in order for messages to move between postoffices. Is this not the case?
