I am trying to setup some filter exceptions on my BM 3.8 (no sp's) box. In the past when I wanted to set up exceptions on my BM 3.5 box, I ran the NCF provided by Craig in his book for capturing the packets that have been passed and discarded. You then look at your console file to see why things aren't working and setup filter exceptions from there. Anyway, when I try this on my BM 3.8 box, I don't see any of the filter traffic in my console file. Any reason as to why? All I did is copy the ncf from my 3.5 box to my 3.8 box. I really need to see this traffic as I have an issue I am trying to resolve and they only way I can get it to work at the moment is if I unload filters. Obviously that is not something I want to do for an extended period of time. Thanks!
