Hi all,

...we have successfully implemented automated imaging with WinXP at several customer sites in the past. With all the available shell scripts we could push universal and add-on images as zmg files to clients without manual intervention.

Now I'm curious to know how can I achieve an automated procedure for downloading a syspreped Vista/Win7 .wim file without having to go manually through the stages where you have to choose whether I want a wim or ghost image and typing in the path to the wim files...maybe I can pass some parameters to WinPE engine and imageX through shell script?

We could manage this things in an old school manner with zmg images, possible more benefits would arise with the way microsoft handles imaging though.

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Best Regards
