I am testing third party imaging on our ZCM 10.2.2 system using WinPE imaging. Our ZCM server is running atop of SLES, the imaging server runs on top of native netware 6.5 Sp8 (where previously ZEN 7 was running and tons of images are stored). I enabled CIFS on this netware server to support MS shares, tested this shares using Win 7 (no novell client), had to disable NTLMv2 on this system (configure "Send LM and NTLM - use NTLMv2 if negotiated" in gpedit) to be able to connect via cifs share but had no success to connect to from WinPE using Novell third party imaging tool nor using "net use".

Question: does WinPE require NTLMV2 on the server side?
If so, all OES2 SP1 servers will not support WinPE Imaging as remote storage location via CIFS.
Is this issue known and a workarround availiable?
