Hi There,

our enviroment OES2 SP2

we recently migrated from Nw 6.5 to OES2 SP2, i am checking the logfiles to watch/catch up errors.

our messages Logfile is filling up with:

kernel: Couldn't get FDN from LUM for uid=108, rc=2
My first thought was LUM is not working, but i checked everything and found nor error, even i did not noticed any LUM related errors.

so i diged my /etc/passwd file, the UID 108 is used by nagios (NRPE Client) wich i installed to check up the server load, volumes etc.

has anyone a clue why nagios interfaces with LUM ?

I'll do nagios based free disk space checks against the nss volumes like this:
command[check_vol1]=/usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_disk -w 20% -c 10% -p /dev/evms/VOL1
Propably someone has an idea how to deal with this.
