We are testing Windows 7 access to Netware volumes using CIFS and are experiencing extremely slow and inconsistent results. We have tried disabling autotuning in Windows 7, as well as the Windows hotfix kb978869, but neither have provided any significant improvement. Using the Windows 7 client is not a solution as this is part of an overall migration to move away from Novel file and print services.

I know a lot of folks have run into this. Any good fixes out there?
