Hello again,

I am performing scripted installs of NW65 SP8 on new Virtual Machines in VMWare ESX.

My response file specifies the pool and volume creation for the server.

After the SYS volume is created the installer (pre-gui stage) says it "cannot find SYS in NSS".

Pressing Enter to the error, I get the NSSMU screen, and I can see the SYS pool and SYS volume.

I can the continue the installation but further pools and volumes defined in the response file are not created. I also have the (unrelated ?) LDAP issue I previously posted but no other errors.

Extracts from my response file:

>>>>
[NWI:Boot Partition]
Prompt=FALSE
Boot OS=NetWare
DOS Partition Size=2000
<<<<
>>>>
[NWI:Pool Sys]
Remove Old Partitions=FALSE
Remove Only SYS partitions=FALSE
Remove Shared Partitions=FALSE
Device ID=[V358-A2-D0:0] VMware Virtual disk f/w:1.0
SYS POOL SIZE=8255

[NWI:Pool 0]
Name=POOL1
Size=255999

[NWI:Volume 0]
Name=DATA01
Pool Name=POOL1
Quota=200000

[NWI:Volume 1]
Name=INFRA
Pool Name=POOL1
Quota=20000

I have confirmed the device ID is correct.

Anyone have any thoughts on this one ?

Cheers
Ian
