I would like to shrink a current nss volume and convert the freed space to an additional ext3 formatted volume. When I created my backup server, crated two logical drives on my array, a 30 gb drive for the OS and a 120 gb drive for nss. However, I am finding that arserve server is using a log of my OS space for it's database.

What I would like to do is shrink my nss volume to around 100 gb and re-purpose the 20 gb as an ext3 partition (say mounted as /mnt/arc). Can this be done? If so how?

Thanks, Chris.
