Our primary servers all have two nics. One of the nics have assigned an ip address that is dedicated to db traffic between the primary servers and the database. The agents (client computers) do not have acces to this subnet. It is a vlan that only exist on the blade chassis.

The other nic have an ip address that is in a subnet used for the zenworks agents to communicate with the primary servers.

If I look at the logfile (C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\logs\LocalStore\zmd-messages.log) at the clients it seems that they half of the times try to connect to the primary servers on the ip in the db-subnet and half of the times use the "public" ip.

Is there a way to configure the agents so they only communicate with the primary servers on their "public" ip addresses?
