I started a thread above but now I think it is maybe NSS corruption.

Here is the issue.
If I browse the files of a problematic backup folder via a drive mapped
or from the server console source /media/nss/VOLUMES.....
I see 52 objects/files an exact match.

If I browse from the Linux backup agent it is infinite. In other words
after the 52nd file browse, it starts at file 1 again.

The only change was an inplace upgrade OES2SP2/SLES10SP3.

If I move the data via a mapped drive to a identical server
OES2SP2/SLES10SP3 and browse the files via the same Linux backup agent
the agent only, all is OK and I see only 52 files; no infinite loop issue.

Any ideas?
