I have a BM 3.6 sp2 on a NW5.1 sp5 server with reverse proxy to an
internal web server on a NW 5.1 sp4 system. I am using BM to
authenticate from outside the firewall. I get the BM authentication
page showing a URL of
https://208.62.xxx.xx/BM-login/?"HTTP://208.62.xxx.xx:80/"-r .

If I do not enter a valid user name pwd combo I receive a 'Login
Failed, Please Try Again' message with a URL of:
https://208.62.xxx.xx/BM-Login/auth-cup

If I enter a valid context, user name and PWD I receive a "page cannot

be displayed' errror with a URL of:

https://208.62.xxx.xx/BM-Login/auth-cup

If I remove the -r form the top URL and enter the same valid user
name- PWD combo the reverse accelerator works.

My questions are:
What is the -r switch and what is it used for?
How do I get rid of it?
Will this cause me any problems or security issues?

As a side not I had an older machine with IE5.0 on it and it will
authenticate without removing the -r ant the end.

Thanks,

Jim
