We have DOS systems but would like to move them to SLES/SLEPOS. What we would like to do is keep the existing DOS partition but use ZLM imaging to deploy the SLES image down to the devices without deleting the existing DOS partition without manual intervention. There is data on the DOS partition that we would like to keep as well as have a "fail-safe" by just booting back to DOS if all our ported Linux apps do not work as designed. So, anyone know of a way to do that?

The only other way I could think to do it would be to create an image with both DOS and SLE on it. Image that and make it a base image. Run scripts/batch files to copy necessary data from the existing DOS only system, blow the image down to the device and then copy those files back to the DOS partition.

Any other ideas?
