We have a customer that has a main office, and a remote office connected through a pair of Sonicwall TZ 100 firewall devices. They connect through a VPN connection. However the people at the remote office continue to have issues where their drives will timeout when they have not accessed them for quite awhile. Windows drives seem to work well however Lotus seems to have more of an issue with the reconnect.
The on-site person changed the default timeout on the SonicWalls from 15 minutes to 60 minutes, and he changed the Watchdog packet settings (I can provide more details if needed on that), but we were not sure if there was something else on the SonicWalls that are needing to be opened. I believe that we have 524, but not sure on the others as of yet.
