We're in the process of migrating our printers from various Netware
print managers to a single Linux print manager. The redirection
process works great most of the time (I'm assuming that!), but there
are a lot of occasions where the process get 90% or more through the
printer redirection and the spooler crashes. Sometimes restarting the
spooler service (spoolsv.exe) or rebooting the system brings the
printers back. On rare occasions we need to remote into the computer
and install the printerthrough the iPrint Web page.

No real disasters so far, but many help desk calls!! Client versions
range from 4.xx to 5.32. All workstations are running WinXP SP3. I've
tried disabling McAfee with no luck. Any ideas what may be causing
this to happen?
