I've updated my 2.1 installation to 3.7 with a variety of problems
along to
way. I decided the best way to start with a fresh server. I installed
NW6
SP2 on a Dell PowerEdge 4600 and they installed BM3.7 from the CD and
still
there were issues, do they not test these things? The first problem I
came
across was the corruption in builtins.cfg and this seems to cause thefilters/definitions not to be imported into NDS correctly. I had to
import
the schema manually and copy the imanage files across manually too.
Its
still not working correctly, when I try and add a packet filter
through
iManage it works to a point but fails with errors on the page towards
the
end of the process. Anyway, I'm ok with using filtcfg.nlm so this is
not a
major problem, but it would be nice if it worked!
The main problem I have with the new setup is the SSL Authentication
page,
single-sign on works great but I have several Mac users who cannot run

clntrust.exe and need to use the SSL authentication. When a browser
(IE6)
is launched the security alert about the SSL certificate is displayed
(with
"This certificate was issueed by a company you have chosen not to
trust" &
"The name on the security is invalid" ) but after accepting anyway
"Page
cannot be found is displayed" (URL:-
https://MYSERVER/BM-Login/?%22https:...ll.com:443/%22). I
have
checked the sys:etc\proxy\data directory, which I presume is the root
of the
mini-webserver, and bm-login is nowhere to be found. There is a
bmlogin.htm
file though.
I initially thought that this was a problem with the SSL certificate,
but I
can access imanage over SSL on the server no problem. I've even gonethrough Craigs notes on re-creating the 40-Bit SSL Key material to no
avail.
I have re-installed the server from scratch and have exactly the sameproblem.
Basically I've tried everything, can anyone please help?!?

Thanks in advance,
