Hi,

Here is my issue, the school board where I work decided to update the Linux service pack from SLES 10 sp2 to SLES 10 sp3 and since then all the agents I have installed (12 file server) are taking all the remaining memory. As an example they were all taking between 35 to 45 % of the memory.

Here is an example of the screen I could see using top:

Tasks: 188 total, 2 running, 186 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
Cpu(s): 0.7%us, 0.3%sy, 0.0%ni, 99.0%id, 0.0%wa, 0.0%hi, 0.0%si, 0.0%st
Mem: 2061452k total, 2042752k used, 18700k free, 32248k buffers
Swap: 1542200k total, 688656k used, 853544k free, 77184k cached

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
9938 root 16 0 1687m 937m 3240 S 0.0 46.6 0:05.18 nsmagentd

Now, I have to say that we did not encounter any problem before the update. As anyone seen something like that before?

Thanks

Georges
