Imaging a CD/USB device
I've got a CD/USB I would like to image. It's a DOS bootable CD/USB disk/stick. And yes itís old. An Award BIOS editor.
Question: Can I upload the CD disk/USB stick as am image to my ZCM server using the PXE boot linux shell?
For the CD I've tried
Which lists the cdrom as a device.
#mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
and it mounts but nothing in there. A DOS file system format on the CD issue Iím guessing. Tried with a Ďnormalí CD and the files show up OK.
#mount Ėt msdos /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
but same result - no files.
For the USB stick, Iíve tried
#lsmod |grep usb
(which gives me the device as sdb:sdb1
#mount -t usbfs /sdb/sdb1 /mnt/usb
and it mounts. ls gives
001 002 003 004 005 006 007 008 devices
but with nothing in the Ď00xí folders
