But according to the docs, you have to use SAMBA if you wish to use NSS to hold your content repo.

I don't recall that in previous versions.

If so, doesn't that prevent you from using CIFS as well (I don't think you can have CIFS and SAMBA on the same OES2 server)?

And if so, why the change?

Ideally I'd like to use NSS for the primary server for the content repo as well as NSS volumes on our regional OES2 linux servers.

But not if I have to enable SAMBA.

Or is there a SUPPORTED method to do this without using SAMBA?
