SSL Proxy Authentication works fine as long as the Internet Explorer Bypass Proxy server for local addresses is NOT checked. When bypass is

enabled it seems the browser redirects an tries to resolve
https://server/BM-Login/?"http://www.google.com" as a single hostname
and
displays Page Not Found Error Message. If I modify the address bar to
read
https://server.domain.com/BM-Login/?"https://www.google.com" the login

page works perfectly.

Is there a way to modify the redirect function to use the fully
qualified
domain name in the redirect request?

Note: I am able to ping from a workstation using the short name as
well as
the long name. Also ping -a <ip address> returns the long name.

Any Suggestions?
