I recently realized that our OES2 SP1 server hasn't been getting SLES10 updates, only OES2
updates. I'm no expert on rug, but here's some output I thought might demonstrate our

Output of rug pd -i:

S | Name | Version | Category
i | SUSE_SLES_SP2 | 10.2-0 | base
i | OPEN_ENTERPRISE_SERVER_SP1 | 2.0.1-0 | add-on

Output of rug ca:

Sub'd? | Name | Service
Yes | SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP2 | SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP2
Yes | Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 SP1 | Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 SP1
| SLES10-SP1-Updates | https://nu.novell.com
| SLE10-SP1-Debuginfo-Updates | https://nu.novell.com
| OES2-Updates | https://nu.novell.com
Yes | OES2-SP1-Updates | https://nu.novell.com
Yes | OES2-SP1-Pool | https://nu.novell.com

It appears to me that the server recognizes that it has OES2-SP1 and SLES10-SP2 but isn't
using the SLES10-SP2 patch channel. According to information I've read we should be
subscribed to SLES10-SP2-Updates, but we're not. How do I correct this?

A side question: How does one know how long Novell will continue to provide updates for
an OES or SLES SP? Is there a general policy? Is it posted on their web site somewhere?
