Greetings all. I'm new to the forum. I'm testing a reverse proxy
through
BM to an Exchange server for web access. (Exchange is some kind of
email
system I think <g>).
The BM server is Netware 5.1 with service pack 6. The installed
products
screen says BM 3.7.0 is installed but the brdsrv.nlm is 3.60b?
At any rate, we have the BM server setup with two interfaces on a
test
network. External int is 200.200.100.1 and internal is 10.250.16.45.
The
Exchange server is internal at 10.250.16.24.
Setting up HTTP Acceleration using port 80 works just fine.
However, if I select "accelerate on a different port" and attempt to
use
some unused port (I've tried 8888) for the BM server to listen on I
get
only the "page cannot be displayed" errors in ie when attempting to
bring
up Exchange web access.
Switching back to port 80 makes everything work great again.

Am I missing something in this setup? Should there be anything more
to
do than what I've described? Oh, I do not have the enforce access
rules
box checked in NWAdmin and I even when into filtcfg and made sure that

traffic on port 80 and 8888 was always permitted.

Thanks very much for your help.
