OES2 SP1 Linux, and want to patch to OES2 SP2.

I know (and have done) patching through the channel (as it were). We have a lot of regional servers with really bad/slow WAN links (like it would take probably 2-3 days to download all the stuff).

So I guess:

Can you copy the .iso files for SLES 10 SP3 and OES2 SP2 over to the server and patch from there?

(or just not a good idea?) I remember there's some reboots needed.

Or are we just better off burning to DVD/CD and then shipping them and having someone there who can eject the DVD/CD for us at the appropriate times and do a media upgrade?

(we have HP ILO but seriously accessing the ISO across the same WAN will be atrociously slow).
