ZCM 10.3 on SLES 11. Today I noticed that ZCM "itself" show "ZENworks Agent Status" as "Unable to connect through IP Address or Host Name". So far I saw this only with devices, never on ZCM server. Did took a look logs on server and ... no error show there, just no log entries in zmd-messages.log and that's it. So, I started (probably it was stopped) Novell ZENworks Management Agent and ... it go green again!
Must say, 10.3 add just more trouble! Sorry to say.
