When a user has logged into the network at school, using Coldfusion
and the
Novell-provided nwdir.ocx, I can 'capture' the username of that person
and
use it on my Coldfusion-driven intranet site.

When a user from home tries to get to the intranet they are prompted
for
authentication via the reverse-proxy requiring authentication. No
problem;
it all works fine.

However, after authenticating through the BM (3.7, fully-patched)
server, my
intranet webpages don't have any idea of who the user is unless I
create an
additional login page. I'd like to simplify things.

Is there something that can be called/referenced/accessed, after
authenticating through the reverse proxy, that will indicate the
credentials
of the logged-in user? I don't need to capture their password, just
the
username...

Thanks for any insights!
