I have some trouble understanding about CIFS/samba/NCP.
If i understand correctly, NCP is protocol of novell to access a share (on NSS, ETX3, RFS etc ...).
If I use NSS, my share will be available only if I use the novell client.

CIFS is the evolution of samba.
But why we can install CIFS or Samba in OES ? Can I install both ? Or what is the differences between ?

And finally, what's the differences between CIFS and NCP ? When I read the PDF, I don't see the differences (except the rights when use NCP on NSS volums).
