We were using ZENWorks 7.5 IR19. At the beginning of 2010 it stopped loading workstation data to DB.
I upgraded to IR21 and get message that upgrade was successful. However, after that Collection server was shown as “Unavailable” in ZENWorks Manager and neither restarting the services nor rebooting the zenw-pavw01 server helped.
We restored application server from backup and server status became “Stopped” instead of “Unavailable” in ZENWorks Manager. When trying to start it, Collection server shows as “Started” for a moment and then “Stopped” again. The log shows “The Collection Server failed to initialize.” and “This application was unable to access the file due to a checksum failure. Source filename = Colw32.exe."
