We are working on updating our workstations to XP SP3 and IE7. I have noticed with the accounts that have roaming profiles, the following strange message now appears each time they log in:

"Internet Explorer cannot find the Active Desktop HTML file".

Hitting OK to 'disable' Active Desktop does nothing. Also the desktop is a strange split of the left side looking like the file search window.

I have Googled this error, and the solution they mention is to go to Display settings, in Web tab, and remove any listings. However the machine does not have that enabled, and it is grayed out - so does not help.

Has anyone had this issue as well with roaming profiles and upgrading to IE7 and SP3? It seems to be a new HKCU registry setting, but am having a hard time locating it.
