I'm wanting some advice on how to use ZCM for software installs going from a ZDM 7 environment. Obviously anything that is a .msi I can easily upload and deploy but alot of our software on our NAL repository is .exe files.

I know its recommended that they all be packaged into .msi files but having to repackage all our stuff could be time consuming especially when vendors are still releasing software as .exe's.. even Novell's personality migration is .exe. Should I use file bundles to copy the .exe down locally then run it? Ontop of that, some of our installs have .bat/.cmd/.vbs scripts used for installing.

Can you please provide me with some advice or recommendations for how to migrate our software repository from ZDM 7 to ZCM 10.2 environment?

Many thanks!
