Here's the scenario:

user kharris changed name back to maiden name kodonnell - I renamed the edir and groupwise account to kodonnell and added a nickname so she could receive email from her old address kharris@mydomain.com

user kodonnell got married and changed name to kschott - I renamed the edir and groupwise account to kschott and added a nickname so she could receive email from her old address kodonnell@mydomain.com. I then deleted the nickname kharris since she was no longer receiving mail at this address.

3 years later....

I have a new user named ken harris. set his username as kharris and his email as kharris@mydomain.com

Here's the problem:

When kharris sends mail outside the system his email headers say ken harris and kharris@mdinsurance.state.md.us. When the reciepient receives the email on their system the headers are correct, but when they open the email it says the sender is kathy schott. When they select reply it sends to kschott@mydomain.com and bcc's kharris@mydomain.com.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
