Not sure where I should post this, so I am trying both the OES and the SLES forums, sorry about the cross-post, but I am desperate.

We had to shut down everything in our data center for some power circuit upgrades for installing backup generators last weekend. I have a number of OES-Netware and OES-Linux servers running on VMWare ESX/ESXi platforms and one of them failed to come back up when power was restored. It goes through the startup sequence and the fails with a message :
Loading ext3
Waiting for device /dev/sda3 to appear .... not found -- exiting to /bin/sh

If I boot into the rescue system and run evms and then check /var/log/evms-manage.log I see that it says:
May 31 10:29:05 Rescue _5_ NWSegMgr: OES2-NSS is not installed

I have an ext3 partition for boot and swap and an EVMS partition for the NSS volumes. Output of fdisk -l from the rescue prompt is in my post in the SLES forum. I shutdown and restarted the system on the weekend before with no problems, and no changes have been made since then so I do not understand why it says that OES2-NSS is not installed.

Where do I go from here ? Thanks for any help ...
