One of our programmers recreated our company website, which is hosted
offsite. Now whenever network users try to access the offsite page,
it loads V-E-R-Y S-L-O-W-L-Y, typically taking around 2 minutes.

Of course the programmers insist that the problem is with our
BorderManager 3.7 server and they refuse to go back to the old
website. If they connect directly to the internet and bypass the
proxy server it loads just fine. I can't recreate the problem with
any other website, so I suspect it's something in their html code that
interferes with the proxy cache. BTW we have transparent proxy

I've tried using the Site Download Options with follow links to other
hosts enabled, 5 levels. That downloads just over 3kb to the cache
and doesn't make any difference.

Can anybody explain why this is happening? The website in question is
