I'm about to replace a Netware 6.5 server and migrate to OES2 Linux and the company wishes to have the same IP address for the new server but different server name. I've read there is no simple or recommended way of doing an IP change on OES Linux as alot of the services require alot of manual changing. Is this still the case?

To overcome this, I am going to give the Netware server a temp IP. Then install and configure the OES linux server using the original IP. Then migrate each of the services over. The services are file, iprint (will be using print manager DNS name), DNS, DHCP, ZDM 7, NFS shares.

Can anyone see any issues occuring from this or have recommendations?
