Hi all.

Mike says:
"With the original release of OES Linux (OES1), EVMS was required for NSS
volumes and pools. When OES2 was released, this requirement was removed and
NSS volume creation was simply done using unpartitioned disk space. (...)
The use of either is your choice, although EVMS allows for more features of
NSS to be utilized. "

1. Can someone explain me what "more features" are those?

2. Isn't EVMS ending and being replace by LVM2?

3. I imagine EVMS as another layer, that degrates performance, may fail,
etc. Is this assumption correct?

Thanks in advanced, TA.
