Yes, it is possible with iFolder 3.8 (at least) to install silently, if .Net is there (already installed) msi does the job as well. But, another problem with update. Possible I'm doing something wrong, but when I tried to install msi (silently, of course) over client I got error ...
"MSI (s) (7C:BC) [13:37:12:968]: MainEngineThread is returning 1638 Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel. {060AC507-0046-4446-BA00-0C53B28645F5}".
Then I tried same with exe, got error "MSI (s) (7C:20) [13:44:58:682]: MainEngineThread is returning 1603" -- "Error 1316.A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Application Data\Downloaded Installations\{252292B8-B656-4164-A59F-3EB2BDF6D133}\iFolder 3 Client.". Of course, this msi is not there!
Any ideas? Well, yes, one way is to log in and ... do the upgrade, but there must be a way wo any tricks to-do this with exe/msi, is there?
More thanks, Alar.
