I set up an OES2 on linux, and added users, rights etc with iManager. As it happens, I also have a Netware 6.5 server which was fully maintained via nwadmin32. This is deliberately also set to be accessible from the OES2 server and vice versa.

When I fire up nwadmin32 on NW6.5 I found it perfectly possible to also open the tree on the OES2 server. The tree sructure seems a lot different, though. For instance the server and all the server volumes appear at the root of the tree, rather than neatly in their own organisational units.

Could someone tell me if it is undesirable, even damaging, to make any changes on an OES2 server by using nwadmin32? I mean simple changes to users and rights, not major tree surgery.
