Hello,

After we upgraded a box from OES 1 sp 2 to an end result of OES 2 sp2 (SLES 10 sp3) the OS no longer recognizes the modem that was working on it before. The modem is on a serial port, was /dev/ttyS1. Now the system does not recognize it as a modem with hwinfo. Excerpts below.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
