Hi,
We have a document management product that moves files around during their
revision. It's fairly simple, all it does is when a file is revised (another
revision is created), is copy the previous revision to a specified history
folder, and it tags the filename with the revision (ie FILENAME.DOC becomes
FILENAME_A.DOC)

Anyway, the product does it's thing on XP all day long.

On Windows 7, it fails to move / copy files around. If you configure the
document management product to use a local drive, or Windows 2003 server
drive (as opposed to a NW6.5 SP8 NSS volume) then it also works fine.

It's the good old op-lock issue according to our document management vendor.
Which they say is unavoidable on NetWare.

Can somebody help? Has anybody else had locking issues in Windows 7?

Many Thanks
Alan
