I understand the main differences between a dynamic group and a group/folder that's being used by a registration rule.

Assuming I am reading the docs correctly, IF you are using registration rules, then things like the IP address of the workstation are "updated" upon initial registration, refresh, and a re-reg.

If that is correct, then does that mean if I wanted to setup something similar to how ZPM 6.4 does with it's system groups based upon VLAN/IP range, I would use a registration rule to accomplish this?

(so when the device refreshes, it will go into the appropriate folder/group, whereas a dynamic group would not necessarily do that as it runs as a scheduled event on the server, or if I manually update it)?
