I have a particular user account that I want to limit application launches and restrict the websites that they can go to. I setup a group policy with user based configurations and then applied that to the particular user that I wanted to receive this policy.

After logging in with this user, the GPO applies as expected and works fine. However, after I log off with that user, the policy is still applied to all other users that login to this machine. I do not have any group policies setup for the other users on the machine in an effort to reduce login times.

Am I misunderstanding how GPO is applied here? Do I need to create a seperate GPO for the other users that reverse the changes assigned to my limited account?

This is being applied to windows 7 x64 based systems.
