We are experiencing problems with client trust loading in XP. I've read through TIP #15, and I get the gist about trying different versions of CLNTRUST, and am more then willing to give it a whirl. Before I go there I was wandering if anyone has seen this problem:

LOGIN-LGNWNT32.DLL-740: This utility could not execute external program \\Server\SYS\PUBLIC\DWNTRUST.EXE
LOGIN-LGNWNT32.DLL-740: This utility could not execute external program \\Server\SYS\PUBLIC\CLNTRUST.EXE

This is an intermittent problem during login. The following command is used in the login script:

@\\SERVER\SYS\PUBLIC\DWNTRUST.EXE
@\\SERVER\SYS\PUBLIC\CLNTRUST.EXE

The UNC is working really well. I chose to use UNC because of inconsistencies in login scripts for the different OU's. I'm not even sure if it's UNC that is causing the problem, but the error is intermittent. Client trust may load one time, but the next time the user logs in they may get the error. From what's been reported to me from the field this is isolated to XP, but we do have 2K and 98 out there as well.
