Recently installed OES2-SP2a Linux Cluster that was a mixed node upgrade from NetWare OES 6.5 SP8. iSCSI SAN sits between the 2 servers, AFP & CIFS running, it holds the NSS Volumes.

We have been having issues since the migration to OES2-Linux when users open up Office documents with Office 2007.
If you open the file with Open Office, you don't have an issue.
If you copy the file to the desktop and then open it up it will not save it as read-only.
Office 2007 is reporting these files as read-only, not OES2, not Windows, they all show the file is editable.
If you turn off Virus Scanning, no change
If you open the file with Office 2007, save it to the desktop and then open the desktop file it doesn't re-open as read only.
If you copy the file to the desktop, open it and save it to the user's home directory and then re-open it, it will show as read-only.
If you create a new file save it to the server, open it back up it will show as read-only.
