We are running Novell Border Manager 3.7 w/sp2 on a NW 6 w/SP5 box. We
have a Citrix, Presentation Server 3, environment. We are NOT using the
Novell Client. BM is configured with SSL.
Problem: BM Rules prevent a Citrix user from getting to an internet web
page with IE 6. This user gets an error 403, that’s ok. However, the
next user on the same Citrix server HAS internet access by a BM rule also
gets the same error 403 this is not good. This second user and all other
users on the Citrix server ALL get the 403 error. If we run “http://Bm
server IP address:1953/cmd/BM-Logout/” this clears the user login and
then users with internet access via a BM rule DO get to the internet.
However now the restricted users, via BM rule, CAN access the internet as
well as the non-restricted users.

HOW DO WE CLEAR UP ALL USERS GETTING THE SAME ACCESS AS THE “FIRST” USER
OR THE SAME ACCESS AFTER WE CLEAR THE BM LOGIN AS STATED ABOVE.
OBVIOUSLY WE WANT ALL USERS TO GET ACCESS AS DEFINED BY OUR BM RULES.
Our Proxy.cfg file in SYS:\ETC\Proxy\ has the following:
[BM Cookie]
BM_Forward_Cookie=0
We DO use HTTPS, a MUST, and SSL sites !!!

thanks for any and all help in advance !
