Hello all -- new here (and new with Novell) and have probably a simple

I guess it's two-fold. Currently we are getting FAT write errors to our
cache volumes every 6 hours or so of primetime use, even after running
vrepair and purging deleted files. I've removed long name/mac name support
from both cache volumes. I assume it's a hardware issue and was wondering
how I might "test" to see if there's indeed an HDD issue going on.
Secondly, in the meantime, is it possible to run BM with cache volumes on a
different server while the hard drive gets replaced? We have an older
server that was replaced and could easily double as a cache bed. I know we
could re-install BM on this computer, but I'm looking for a quick dirty fix
while we get some things worked out.
