After an 'online update' for SUSE Linux 10 SP2, OES2 SP1, AFP server (Cluster server), our MAC users are unable to open files from the NSS volume. Note: we exclude the OESSP1-novell-ncpenc udpate. It looks like a file locking problem but I'm not sure how to solve it. All PC users are able to open and save files. Here is the error in the ncpserv.log file:

[! 2010-10-18 14:13:07] CrpConvertPathString: localModifierString =FILES:/DEPTS/Communications/.DS_Store

I restarted AFP but that didn't help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
