    KIS2011 blocking Novell.com!

I just installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 on a new Lenovo ThinkPad runing Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and now, using the default settings, I can't access Novell.com and other sites.

I noticed the log contains dozens of entries similar to these:
    Code:

While I continue to investigate, has anyone seen anything similar to this? It's hard to believe Novell would have malicious content on their site but at the same time I would think they should be concerned that users of KIS2011 can no longer access the Novell site.

    Hmm...

Not on mine.. I have it installed on several machines, All seem to be
happy to go to novell.com. Must admit I am not running Windows 7, I am
    still on XP..

No one seems to have seen anything like what you are describing. What does
    Kaspersky say?

    I haven't contacted them yet. That's next.

It's interesting that some elements of the data stream from Novell.com are flagged as suspicious but IMO that shouldn't stop the page from loading. This post was simply to determine if anyone else had experienced similar issues.

There are still too many unknowns to identify the cause. I'll continue my investigation and update the thread with what I find.

    Update...

I appear to have a defective wireless adapter card in the laptop. I never actually used the wireless adapter before installing KIS2011!

I still don't know why some elements of the data stream from Novell.com (and other sites) are flagged as suspicious but that is a curiosity to be investigated at another time.

    Thanks for the responses.

I'm running W7 Pro 64 bit with just Kaspersky Virus Protection (not the I-
Security package) on a machine and have no problems.

    FYI
