My internal domain is, say, xyz.net. It's normal for me to be able to
ping xyz.net from a machine inside, correct? I get a response from one
of my dns servers.

I have a test domain setup xyz.com in a lab environment that I'm trying
to make identical to my live domain. I cannot ping xyz.com in my test
environment and I'm wondering what I need to change so I can. I've
been scouring the dns consoles comparing test to live and can't find
any differences that seem to help.

Suggestions?
