Am attempting to use rsync invoked by a user logging in as a LUM user (user a). This works as ssh is pam/lum enabled so that rsync is invoked as that LUM user and the directories and files are created correctly.

However, a second attempt to rsync to the same directory by a different user (user b) gets a permission error (13) - rsync error shows that rsync cannot create files starting with a period (.) - mkfstemp.

Permissions on the directory on the linux side indicate that user b should have access and consoleone shows nss effective rights as user b having access.
