Several months ago I moved our GroupWise mail server from our old Netware box (192.168.2.1) to our new OES Linux server (192.168.2.6). It has been running fine. However I have received a few complaints about mail not going through. In researching it I found an odd situation. In the GWIA log I found the following:
08:35:08 776 MSG 4370722 Sender: abc@123.org
08:35:08 776 MSG 4370722 Building message: scee1fbc.217
08:35:08 776 MSG 4370722 Recipient: xyz@123.org
08:35:24 992 DMN: MSG 4370722 Send Failure: 450 Host down ([192.168.2.1])
08:35:39 200 MSG 4370722 Analyzing result file: /media/nss/GW/groupwise/mail/foidom/wpgate/gwia/result/rcee1fbc.217
08:35:39 200 MSG 4370722 Detected error on SMTP command
08:35:39 200 MSG 4370722 Command: [192.168.2.1]
08:35:39 200 MSG 4370722 Response: 450 Host down ([192.168.2.1])

This is an internal message - should it even be going through the GWIA? And why is it trying to access the old server address? Where should I look to find out what's going on?

Thanks,
Dan Pearson
