Hello all,

I have a bordermanager 3.8 (no service pack) server running on netware 6.5
sp5. The server has two nics. One ip is 192.168.x.2 network and the other
is 10.10.x.2. Packet filtering is enabled to stop the two networks from
communicating with each other.

My problem is that if a user on the 192.168.x.0 network logs in thru the
netware client they are able to get on the web. But if the same user checks
of workstation only and attempts to connect to the web the connection is
redirected to the 10.10.x.2 authentication page. Of course since packet
filtering doesn't allow the two networks to communicate the redirection
request isn't fulfilled. So the user isn't able to authenticate and get
onto the web.

I would like to get the workstations from the 192.168.x.0 network to get
redirected to 192.168.x.2 so they can log in.

I have this exact scenario working properly at a different location. The
only difference between the two sites is that the one which works has the
BorderManager patched to sp3.

Does anybody have an idea on what the issue could be? Oh and both sites use
transparent proxy. I have attempted specifying the proxy on clients at the
non-working site, but that did not solve my problem.

Thanks for any responses.
